After a long week of work, it felt good to have a weekend of fun! I went downtown with some friends to L.A. Live, which is a big complex in the middle of downtown Los Angeles with many different restaurants, bars and lounges, entertainment (ie sporting events, clubs, spas) and a movie theater.  I ate at Katsuya, which is a great Japanese restaurant.  I ate some of my favorite sushi rolls - Rainbow and Spicy Tuna - as well as shared a drink with a friend.  You know it had been over 3 years since I have had a drink??  So needless to say, it does not take much for me to feel the effects!  The last part of the evening was spent at "The Library". It is a very chic, chilled out style of bar, and has an intimate sort of setting with lots of comfy couches by a fireplace.  I had one martini to myself and that was all it took for me to be done for the night!  It was a great time enjoying the city night life, of which there is plenty in downtown.  Hope you all were able to have some fun this past weekend, and check out downtown next time you are in Los Angeles!
